Lough Ine house, once the hunting lodge of the infamous Lord Carbery is a stately 5 bedroom country residence situated in a private landscaped park of 16 acres on one of the most famous beauty spots in West Cork, near Skibbereen. The stunning property sleeps 10 people with a 4 poster bedroom and 4 twin rooms and is surrounded by hills facing the largest Salt Water Lough in Northern Europe which forms part of the Lough Ine nature reserve.
Each room in Lough Ine house has been decorated with furniture of the period. The two master bedrooms have material on their walls, downstairs both rooms are wood paneled and the reception rooms are elegantly furnished and very comfortable. A large vine filled conservatory adds considerable charm. It is used as a breakfast room, en-suite of the kitchen and as a reading area, where you will enjoy admiring the view and having drinks before your lunch. A lovely curved staircase leads to three double bedrooms, one with a four poster bed, and to a master bathroom. There are 2 more wood panelled twin bedrooms downstairs both with their own bathrooms with bath shower and WC.
From the shingle beach, you can take one of th house rowing boats to explore the beauties of the lough or go to the island to have a picnic.
